Pyrosynchist is a high-octane indie arcade-style infinite runner where players take on the role of a motorcycle rider in a world overtaken by demons. As a sound designer, composer, and vocalist, I’m contributing to the game's dynamic soundscapes and immersive audio experience. Players ride through pandemonium, throwing explosives, slamming shockwaves, and performing stunts to delay the apocalypse.

Game Modes:

  • Standard Game Mode (Single-Player): Ride your motorcycle along an endless road, dodging obstacles while throwing bombs at demon towers to buy Earth more time. Use your shockwave ability to blast through obstacles and leap over roadblocks off ramps.

  • Standard Game Mode (Two-Player): Team up with a friend in local co-op mode. One player drives while the other leans to help (or hinder) steering. Together, destroy demon towers and fight for Earth’s survival in this chaotic partnership.

  • Stuntdriver Game Mode: Forget the demons! Jump off every ramp in sight and rack up points for risky stunts. No towers, no time pressure—just pure adrenaline.

  • Character Customization: As you rack up points, visit your workshop to unlock new helmets, bike mods, and trails to customize your rider’s appearance and abilities.

As the composer, sound designer, and vocalist for Pyrosynchist, I’m creating dynamic music, sound effects, and vocals that enhance the game's fast-paced, high-stakes gameplay. From explosive bomb sounds to adrenaline-pumping music and voice work, I'm helping to shape the unique auditory experience of this indie game. Pyrosynchist is currently in development and set to release soon on Steam.

Faiblin’s Tale is a retro action-adventure game that draws inspiration from the aesthetics of NES, Game Boy, and Atari-era titles. The game follows Faiblin, a half-fairy, half-goblin protagonist, on a perilous journey to uncover the truth about their origins and save their homeland from a creeping corruption. With fast-paced combat, puzzle-solving, and a unique blend of fairy magic and goblin trickery, players must navigate through dark forests, ancient ruins, and enchanted glades while battling eerie creatures and discovering hidden lore.

The pixel art and evocative soundtrack help bring Faiblin’s Tale to life, immersing players in a world that feels both nostalgic and fresh. Faiblin’s Tale features a hidden level where players can discover a secret chest. By solving puzzles and exploring hidden paths, players unlock valuable items or upgrades, rewarding their curiosity and skill. As the composer and sound designer, I aimed to enhance the game’s emotional depth with haunting melodies and dynamic sound effects, making the audio a crucial part of the experience. Faiblin’s Tale stands out as a creative and ambitious project that showcases the passion and talent of its developers.

Intended for a game jam, my team and I had only 2 weeks to work on this project. Despite its short development cycle, I successfully composed a chiptune-inspired soundtrack and designed a variety of immersive sound effects, including creature vocalizations and weapon impacts. This project was an opportunity to refine my composition and sound design skills, crafting audio that complemented the game’s whimsical yet eerie atmosphere. While the game was not completed, I am proud of the work I contributed and eager to apply these skills to future projects.

Melody's Missing Notes is a whimsical platformer game concept, designed to showcase my skills in music composition and sound design. This project envisions a vibrant world where music is magic, and players must help Melody, a pink-haired musician, restore harmony to her silenced home.

​

Concept Overview:

The Silence Thief, a shadowy figure envious of joy, has stolen the magical notes that bring life to Harmonica Hills. Players will guide Melody on a quest across floating islands, using her magical piano to solve musical puzzles, battle dissonant foes, and ultimately confront the Silence Thief.

​

Gameplay Features (Conceptual):

  • Melodic Platforming: Navigate whimsical environments with jumps and movements timed to the rhythm of the music.

  • Harmonic Puzzles: Solve environmental challenges by playing specific notes or melodies on Melody's piano.

  • Rhythmic Combat: Defeat enemies using musical attacks, turning their discordant energy into harmonious power.

  • Immersive Soundscape: Experience a rich and dynamic world brought to life by my original music compositions and sound design.​

Project Highlights:

  • Music: I've composed a demo for the soundtrack, with a cheerful exploration theme, designed to enhance the emotional impact of the gameplay.

  • Interactive Sound Design: Sound effects are tightly integrated with the gameplay, providing feedback and immersion. From the plinks of Melody's piano to the whooshes of her jumps, every action is sonically rewarding.

This project demonstrates my passion for crafting engaging game audio that complements and enhances the gameplay experience. Although currently a concept, I'm eager to explore opportunities to bring Melody's Missing Notes to life!
